Annual Meeting 2018 Recap
See Why You Should Attend Annual Meeting 2019!
Fresh Perspectives were successfully gained at the NHBA Annual Meeting at the Woodstock Inn & Resort the last weekend of June 2018. The gavel was passed to David McGrath, who became the President of the NHBA, for the membership year 2018-2019. Old fashioned New Hampshire style family fun was successfully mixed with networking, exclusive CLE sessions and banquets honoring the associations most distinguished members.
One of the most impressive events of the weekend was the exclusive showing of Abacus: Small Enough to Jail followed by a discussion with the Sung family. The family shared a candid, first-hand account of their experience, as the only US bank charged following the 2008 financial crisis. They are a remarkable family. Their story was inspiring – it was truly an honor to have them as our guests. Theirs is a story to remind all that the pursuit of justice is a constant need.
On a lighter side, Annual Meeting attendees were treated to the comedic musings of Juston McKinney. Marriage, parenting and living (and making a living) in NH… life in the Granite State will never look the same again!
Family friendly activities included learning about the ancient pastime of falconry… the bravest participants enjoyed the privilege of making a new feathered friend. Thank you Woodstock Inn and Resort and New England Falconry for a terrific program!
