Ask A Legal Question
Your Legal Questions, Answered
Now more than ever, people are seeking legal information and advice on basic life needs such as housing, income, and debt reduction. They also have end-of-life-planning and estate-related concerns. We are here to help.
The NH Bar Association offers two pro bono programs to help Granite State residents receive answers to their crucial legal questions. Licensed New Hampshire attorneys are available to help you identify your issues and provide simple answers where possible. They will also tell you if the situation is serious enough that you should consider hiring a lawyer.
Because some issues are time-sensitive, you should reach out as soon as you know there may be a problem.
NH Free Legal Answers is a program where qualifying/eligible members of the public can request brief advice and counsel about specific civil legal issues from a New Hampshire Licensed Attorney. Click here to sign up and post a legal question.
Lawline
Lawline is the Bar’s free telephone legal advice service. Volunteer attorneys are available to answer your legal questions. Lawline is held on the SECOND Wednesday of each month from 6–8 p.m. To reach Lawline, call the NH Bar Association (toll free) at 800-868-1212.
