When Love Hurts Rights, Responsibilities, Realities A New Hampshire Bar Association Program on Teen Dating Violence

Violence in teen dating relationships is widespread and has long-lasting effects. The severity of violence is often greater in cases where the pattern of abuse was established in adolescence.

Help Break the Cycle

The New Hampshire Bar Association will work to break this harmful cycle by educating young people throughout the state about the rights, responsibilities and realities surrounding teen dating violence through its new program, When Love Hurts.

Classroom Presentations

Using a series of engaging video clips and discussion guides related to the legal considerations surrounding teen dating violence, volunteer attorneys will visit classrooms to educate students in grades 8-12 about abuse in relationships.
