Mystyna Yackel Shappy has joined the New Hampshire Bar Foundation as Associate Director. Ms. Shappy is responsible for the leadership of fundraising activities of the New Hampshire Bar Foundation, implementation of the development plan and coordinates activities related to annual events. She will also be involved with IOLTA Grants, Justice Grants and Diversity study as key projects for the Foundation. One of the first activities that Ms. Shappy will be involved with is the New Hampshire Bar Foundation Annual Dinner that will be held on April 12, 2022 at the Manchester Country Club in Bedford, NH.
Ms. Shappy worked at the New Hampshire Food Bank for over five years and in her last position as Agency Relations Manager, she led a team that supported and advocated for the needs of hunger relief for non-profit partners across the Granite State. In her position, she was responsible for food purchase grant management, implementation of the New Hampshire Feeding New Hampshire program, and the management of the USDA Coronavirus Food Assistance Program’s logistics.

Ms. Shappy moved to New Hampshire in 2005 to study at Daniel Webster College and currently resides in Milford, New Hampshire with her husband and three cats.
